At The Farm
Ages: 5-12 ( 4s will have their own group for 1/2 days)
Time: 10am-3:00 Monday to Friday
Cost: $345 limit 18 children -- 1/2 day for younger friends available
You will help with farm chores like gathering farm fresh eggs from the henhouse, feeding and brushing all of the animals. You will have time to meet and play with all of your new animal friends as we learn some neat facts about them. You will also create some GREAT art. Each day will feature different animals in our art projects. We will create with paint, clay, mixed media, drawing and more. Loads of art, loads of fun. Bring your camera, lunch, an extra thermos and a smile. We will have lunch on the hayride each day. Every child will have the opportunity to drive the tractor with Farmer Sue, and everyone will get a ponyride during the week. This is a fun week and fills up fast.
Some weeks we will have outside visitors on the farm a day or two during the week (field trips from other schools or camps). OUR CAMPERS will BE IN-CHARGE WORKING THE FARM - introducing animals to guest, helping load the hayride, assisting with art instructions. We have found this to be super fun and our kids feel great ownership & pride while showing off THEIR FARM! Outside guest arrive at 10 and depart at 12:30. At 11:45 our Campers "FarmTeam" load the hayride and head out for their private picnic lunch and resume regular schedule of activities for the afternoon.
Campers are to be picked up promptly at 3 in the Haybarn upfront. We welcome family members (siblings & parents) to come a bit early (2:30ish) so your camper can show off their favorite animal & hop a hayride during the last 30 minutes of the day. Hayride will end up front at the yellow HayBarn for pickup.
